Women’s Health and Wellness Programs
Each program package will include two essential types of food and nutrition support:
1. Secondary Foods, which are “Material consisting essentially of protein, carbohydrate, and fat used in the body by organisms to sustain growth, repair, and vital processes and to furnish energy; also: such food together with supplementary substances (as minerals, vitamins, and condiments” (Merriam – Webster Dictionary). In other words, secondary food is that which we put on the plate to suppress our hunger and meet our nutritional requirements.
2. Primary foods, and it means something that cannot be put on your plate, but will make you happy, satisfied, excited, confident, grateful etc. What I am talking about is healthy relationships, enjoyable work, regular physical activity and spiritual practice.
With each program you will receive a comprehensive set of services, including handouts and worksheets, resources, materials and book recommendations, food samples and even more. You will have my consistent support in reaching your health goals. In addition, all you will be invited to attend selected monthly events at no charge.
The result of this work is an approach to health and nutrition that looks at the whole person. It works step by step to build your own awareness in what works best for YOU. Nothing can be changed fast and without effort. It's not magic, it doesn't happen instantly, but all my clients who have applied these ideas have successfully reached their goals and began feeling better to find their balance. Your Balancing Act Program will be designed to create a foundation for shifting your nutrition and lifestyle in easy and manageable ways. With my support you will begin to move forward to be able to start doing the things you need to do in order to get results, to get more of what you want from your body, your health, and your life.
