Are you asking the right question ?

Thankful Things

At the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, I’ve learned how important it is to ask people the right questions. “What is new and good? ” is a question I sometimes begin my counseling sessions with. If the person answers negatively, I try to refocus them on positive thinking.    Next time you meet your friend or call her/him on the phone, try this trick: ask “what is new and good” …. and wait. It is always interesting to see how different react reaction. And if your friend cannot come up with anything new and good, encourage her/him to think harder and wait again.

Sometimes it takes time for us to realize that  our life is better than we imagine or assume.  Before your day begins, start by asking your self  what is new and good.  Start by breathing and then think how lucky you are to be able to do so.

Breathe, smile and be happy.

P.S.

If you are really busy and don’t have enough time to take care of your skin, try one of these natural face masks for women: cut open one or two grapes and rub the juicy part of on your face and neck. Rinse it off after 10 – 15 minutes. You can do it in the morning while you have breakfast or in the evening after work.

Sure it works, also if you smile and tell people happy news or something good happening in your life, they start responding the same way right away. Result: everyone is in the better mood, keep smiling, and thinking how good his or her life is. If you stick to this practice, your attitude becomes more and more positive, you smile more and more often, and people around you get used to it and always meet and greet you with a smile and positive small talk. I came back from vacation and was told : ” It is great to see your smiling face in the office again.”
