April is Stress Awareness Month. Have you been under a lot of stress lately? Feel worn out and irritated; How about sadness and anxiety? Experience back or neck tension? Cortisol, the hormone your body produces when you are stressed, increases your appetite, promotes inflammation, slows down metabolism which leads to weight gain, diabetes, heart disease. To reduce cortisol levels and normalize your metabolism, you must destress and relax.
