The First Step to a Healthier and Happier You in 2010

Written by Irina Wardas on January 5th, 2010

New Year, the time of new beginnings is here. We hope to start afresh,  change our lifestyle and become a completely new person with new habits, goals and expectations.H

Sounds familiar? Do you plan to sit on a new diet, try another detox plan, lose some weight, change your eating habits, start cooking?

Good for you, and good luck with keeping your new year resolutions. Just wanted to remind you a famous wish:

May all your troubles last as long as your New Year’s resolutions.”–Joey Adams

Are you smiling? So what do you think? Will this year be different for you? Will you be able to keep your resolutions longer?

As a holistic health and nutrition counselor and Radio Show host, I always remind my clients about the first step to a Healthier and Happier You, the first step to take if you want to feel and look fabulous :

* try to start listening to your body: what you think, how you feel, what you eat every day;

* try to pay attention to your moods, emotions, natural cycles.

I would like to share with you an excerpt from the book Serving Fire: Food for Thought, Body and Soul by Ann Scott:

“Do you ever wonder what you are eating?

Beyond the fiber, the fat, the taste, the crunch?

We are eating life itself. powerful forces stream down to us from the cosmos, and rise up from the earth.

We draw our nourishment…from the life energy and spirit within the food.”

Emotional and mind clearing, spiritual centering and eating the right foods can make a big difference in your life and in lives of your family and friends.
