Are you ready to trick or treat? I would like to share with you these easy to make healthy snack recipes which can be delicious Halloween treats for kids and adults at your Healthy and Happy Halloween party.
* Date, Apricot and Walnut Balls
2 cups walnuts
½ pound moist pitted dates
½ pound dry apricots
5-7 tbsp hot water or as needed
Directions:
Blend dates and apricots in a food processor adding some water if needed, place into a bowl. Chop half the walnuts and grind the rest. Add chopped walnuts to the mix in the bowl, mix thoroughly. Make small balls (using some oil for your hands if needed) and roll each in the finely grounded walnuts.
* Stuffed Prunes
Ingredients:
Pitted moist prunes as many as you want
Chopped walnuts
2-3tbsp sour cream
Directions:
Fill every prune with a piece of walnut. Place stuffed prunes on the plate and top each with sour cream.
* Stuffed Dates
Dates
Almond butter
Almonds
Directions:
Remove pits with a knife. Fill slit with some almond butter and press in 1 whole almond.
