New study shows that there is no connection between exercises and weight loss. Hmmmm, sorry about that. Are we talking about fitness and health? We don’t need to be marathon runners to be healthy, but to be healthy, we need to be active: to make our heart beat harder and to sweat a little bit. As for me, I never liked the word exercises and have always thought that I am not good enough for sports clubs. But I love different physical activities to make me move, have fun and help maintain my weight and healthy lifestyle.

As a holistic health and nutrition counselor, I encourage my clients to stay active in every possible way in order to feel and look fabulous. Even my dogs are healthier and more active for their age.
Let’s face the truth: to be healthy we need to move especially when we get older. We can call it light exercises or physical activities, but we do need them in our life to get energy, lower our blood pressure, speed up our metabolism, control our hormonal imbalance, protect our heart, sleep better, and feel and look fabulous in general.
Here are some ideas for you, some physical activities you can do but maybe have never thought of.
Always breathe, smile and be happy.
