Radish is one of my favorite vegetables because it will help you not only feel but also look fabulous. Here are some reasons why we should eat at least one radish a day.
Reasons to eat radishes to feel fabulous.
Radishes clears sinuses, hoarseness, phlegm and sore throats.
Radishes stimulate the liver, improve elimination, cleanse/detoxify the system which leads to permanent weigh loss.
Radishes help keep levels of thyroid hormones in balance, and it means that they help not to gain weight and to maintain the weight we want.
Radishes cleanse kidneys and decrease water retention.
Reasons to eat radishes to look fabulous.
Radishes are the most beautifying of all foods. They rejuvenate the skin because of high sulfur and silicon and vitamin C content, which make our skin glow. The sulfurous mustard oil in radishes stimulates the circulation system which makes the skin look radiant.
Signs of a Silicon deficiency:
poor skin quality, brittle nails and hair, dental cavities, atherosclerosis, lung disorders.
Signs of Sulfur deficiency:
acne, arthritis, brittle hair and nails, immune dysfunction, memory loss, rashes, slow wound healing, etc.
Sulfurous foods should be combined with fatty foods (avocado, nuts, some seeds, etc.) for proper digestion;
